Welcome! We’re glad you stopped by.

Tessera Hall Academy (THA), a charter school in south St. Louis, offers young women in grades 6 through 12 a challenging, college-preparatory curriculum in a nurturing, single-gender environment. Partnering with families and the community, THA instills students with a sense of leadership, responsibility and ethics, supporting young women in their endeavors to achieve excellence both within and outside the classroom.

Our mission is to educate and empower young women by providing an environment in which girls with a wide range of abilities from diverse backgrounds can achieve academic success. In addition to preparing young women for college, THA teaches sound ethics and the value of service to others, preparing students to become confident, dynamic leaders of tomorrow.

THA plans to open for the 2017-2018 academic year, enrolling sixth and seventh graders. Each year one grade will be added up until grade 12.
